Words do not do this film justice. I heavily recommend multiple viewings just for your brain to visually process this perfect comicbook movie.
It doesn’t waste time catering to the normal moviegoers; it rewards you for investing 11 years into these 22 movies. If each movie leading up is an episode, Endgame is the ultimate season finale.
I feel cathartic, satisfied, and astounded for starters. From a filmmaking/cinematography standpoint, it’s visually amazing as well. It’s everything I wanted and more… I just can’t put it into words properly, I’m sorry!
My (Non-Spoiler) reaction to Endgame:
I’ve tried not to use anything that could be deemed implicit, but if you want to go in with zero expectations, don’t read on – these are just my thoughts…
No amount of expression can properly convey what I just experienced. It’s just such an incredible franchise! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to express it in such a way it deserves, which in a way speaks for itself.
If you’re unable to uninstall YouTube because of it being a default app on your phone, at least turn off “Recommended Video” notifications, because my oh my, YouTube just kindly notified me of some loser’s leaked Endgame footage against my will.
I didn’t look at it long enough to make sense of the thumbnail or video’s title, so I don’t know how severe of a spoiler it was, but still, that was way too close! I refuse to get anything spoilt for me at the final hurdle! (I’m seeing it in 24 hours’ time!)
The fact that these leaks exist is just as bad as the fact YouTube is stupidly allowing people to receive videos of spoilers, which is also illegal since it’s pirated footage. Nice one, YouTube… You never fail NOT to dissapoint.
A letter from Endgame directors, Anthony and Joe Russo. Truer words have never been spoken. Respect their request for the sake of all the hardworking people on this film, as well as us loyal fans. Share the message!
I half didn’t want to post this, because as much as I feel the need to warn my fellow Marvel fans, this post also notifies all the sad saps that will not only happily check out the major spoilers, but also spread the leaked information/footage themselves.
It’s dangerous because there’s just as many impatient fans that will happily ruin the film for themselves as there are uncaring trolls that’ll ruin the movie for everyone, because they don’t have any emotional investment in this decade-long franchise.
All I’ll say is this; yes, there’s leakedfootage online as well as footage descriptions, which has been confirmed to be major spoilery scenes by someone that works at Marvel. I was going to include a screenshot of the tweet but I just uninstalled Twitter. I’ve also got rid of YouTube and Instagram – I don’t go on Facebook much but I’ll probably uninstall that soon as well.
I know different countries have different social medias, so if you care about this franchise, I at least urge you to lower your usage on those apps/sites. There’s going to be footage, screenshots, video thumbnails, descriptions all over the place, so, I’ve said this before but, please be careful AND considerate.
If you’re a troll, don’t be a pathetic bottom-feeder of a human being… If you’re just an impatient fan that needs spoilers, hang in there, we’re at the final hurdle, you’ve waited this long, I’m sure you can wait a little longer.
